So it's been over a month since my last post! Thank you to all who keep checking in to see if there's anything new.
It's also been 10 days since my appendectomy and during that time I did a lot of thinking. I have really let things slide. I have not been taking care of myself this past month and a half and I'm ready to make some changes and get back on track. And I'm going to use this blog and my wonderful readers to help me!
Alright so let me get you caught up... I quite Weight Watchers for financial reasons. I know it's a great program but I had reached a point that it wasn't working for me. My appendix almost burst so it had to come out. And I have been doing a whole lot of nothing for the last 10 days. It was nice to relax and recover but 10 days of no workouts is starting to get to me. And I have exactly 10 weeks till my 20 year high school reunion...YIKES!!
Here are the ch-ch-ch-ch-changes I'm going to make...
1. Use this blog as my accountability!
That means shorter, more frequent posts from me. I'll be letting you guys know about my workouts, meals, and moods. If I have a good day you'll read about it. If I have a bad day or slip up... I'm gonna own up to it!
2. Use SparkPeople app to track fitness and food.
I'm not in love with this particular app but I've used it in the past and find that it is pretty user friendly. I am open to suggestions on better apps that some of you might use. Especially if they sync with my Misfit Shine. Please let me know!
3. Stay focused!
I tend to get sidetracked really easily and over the silliest things to. In reading over my past blogs I realized I got off subject of what I wanted this blog to be. This was supposed to be about me getting back into shape. And it will be again!
