It's Wednesday!!!
I love Wednesdays, one reason is because it's that much closer to the weekend. The other reason I like Wednesdays is because I get to teach at the Reno Fitness Connection, which feels like home to me. This was the gym that I started at a year ago and where I started taking Aqua Fit classes. And I had a fantastic class today. My students were awesome (which means not too much talking) and they worked their booties off. Plus I had 6 gentlemen in my class which in a "old lady class" always makes me happy. I would really like to see more guys and younger people check out Aqua Fit, but it has such a strong stigma attached to it. It's not just for the older crowd. You get a fantastic work out, you get to be in the water and you don't have to sweat. Well not as much. I invite/challenge swimmers all the time to come join class. Of course no one ever takes me up on it. But maybe some day.
On a different note I realized that my 20 year high school reunion is 5 months away! YIKES!! I'm excited to go, especially since I did not go to my 10 year reunion. So since it's 20 weeks away I have decided to get my butt in gear. Since I started Weight Watchers back in September I've been bouncing up and down with in a ten pound range, which is getting frustrating. I know what I'm doing wrong but for some reason I still put the chocolate in my mouth. I keep trying to figure out how to flip that switch again to lose the weight, but I can't seem to find it. I hope that having the goal of the reunion will help to motivate me away from the bad stuff. I am setting a goal to rid my body of 30 lbs by the reunion, which is very do-able! Fingers crossed for me and I will keep you up to date on my progress!
